Dueling

  • Hi all,
  • Here is a little description on how dueling works.
  • When dueling, you basically take two things into consideration:
  •   1) Your Class
  •   2) Your Rank

Classes

Classes are broken down into weight classes like this:

Class Max Lv Total Min Lv Total Max Lv
Super Light 1 1 1
Light 10 25 30
Welter 30 90 100
Middle 50 160 180
Heavy 70 200 250
Open 100 400 500

The way to read this is that there are 6 Classes. Each class has a Maximum Level that a PET can be on a certain class team, a Total Minimum Level that the WHOLE TEAM can be, and a Total Maximum Level that the WHOLE TEAM can be.

Example:

Let’s say I want to make a Welter weight team. Well, if I want to make a Welter weight team then no member of my team can be over level 30. In addition the TOTAL LEVEL of my entire team cannot be less than 90 or greater than 100.

So, here are a few samples of a Welter weight team.

  •   1) 3 Level 30 Pals
  •   2) 5 Level 20 Pals
  •   3) 4 Level 25 Pals
  •   4) 2 Level 30 Pals and 2 Level 20 Pals

Ranks

Ranks are broken down into the following ranks:

  •   C
  •   B
  •   A
  •   S
  •   SS

Everyone starts out as a C rank duelist and then it goes up to B, A, S and SS. An Open Classed, SS Ranked duelist is considered by many to be the best duelists in the world.

To rise in rank you have to win 4 duels between other duelists of your same rank.

Example:

If I am a C rank duelist then I have to beat 4 other C rank duelists before I am promoted to the rank of B.

If I am an A rank duelist then I have to beat 4 other A rank duelists before I am promoted to the rank of SS

Now in order to duel an NPC you have to be BOTH in their same Class and Rank. So even if you are a Lightweight and go to a Lightweight NPC to duel, if you are both also not in the same rank they will deny you.
